The Pitcher Plant "How it kills" Death by drowning! The fly is attracted by the red colour at the rim of the pitcher. If it should slip over the edge it will land in the liquid at the bottom of the pitcher were it will be digested.

The detail is really nice on this, you can even see the tiny hairs at the top and I really like the contrasting greens of the flower to the background.. great depth of field to enhance the image. It looks like some kind of natural musical instrument
